About this Plugin

Adds a [fn] shortcode that wraps any inline text to create a numbered footnote reference. References render as superscript numbers with hover/focus tooltips. At the end of the post content, a formatted footnote list is automatically appended with back-links from each note to its in-text reference.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file using the button on this page.
  2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New.
