About this Plugin

Limit Login Attempts locks out an IP address for a configurable duration after a set number of consecutive failed login attempts. The lockout duration escalates automatically after repeated offences, reaching an extended ban after N lockouts. Admins can whitelist trusted IPs, receive email alerts, and manage lockout records from the admin log tab.

Installation

1. Download the plugin ZIP file using the button on this page.
2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New.
3. Click Upload Plugin and select the downloaded ZIP.
4. Click Install Now then Activate Plugin.
