About this Plugin

Displays a live, JavaScript-powered countdown timer to any future date/time. Available both as a classic WordPress sidebar widget and as a `[event_countdown]` shortcode that can be placed in any post, page, or widget area. Three built-in visual styles and a configurable "expired" message shown when the target date has passed.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file using the button on this page.
  2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New.
  3. Click Upload Plugin and select the downloaded ZIP.
  4. Click Install Now then Activate Plugin.
