About this Plugin

Adds an AJAX-powered photo upload section to every WordPress user's profile page. The uploaded image is stored as a media attachment and automatically overrides Gravatar across the entire site via the get_avatar_url filter. Users can remove their custom avatar at any time, which deletes the attachment and restores Gravatar.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file using the button on this page.
  2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New.
  3. Click Upload Plugin and select the downloaded ZIP.
  4. Click Install Now then Activate Plugin.
