About this Plugin

VideoVault WP stores each video as a videovault_video custom post type, organised by video_category taxonomy terms (playlists). Each video can be sourced from a YouTube/Vimeo/oEmbed URL or a self-hosted file chosen from the WordPress media library. The plugin auto-fetches and stores the oEmbed provider thumbnail as the post's featured image on save. Galleries render via a single shortcode with two layouts: a responsive grid (cards + lightbox) and a playlist (featured player + scrollable sidebar).

Installation

1. Download the plugin ZIP file using the button on this page.
2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New.
3. Click Upload Plugin and select the downloaded ZIP.
4. Click Install Now then Activate Plugin.
