Add a meta box on posts and pages for custom SEO title and meta description with live character counters.

== Description ==

Per-Post Meta Editor gives WordPress editors full control over the SEO title and meta description for every post and page — directly from the editor screen.

**Features:**

* SEO title and meta description meta box on every post/page
* Live character counter with colour-coded progress bar (60 chars for title, 160 for description)
* Configurable post types (any public post type)
* Title format setting: Post Title | Site Name or Site Name | Post Title
* Configurable title separator character
* Falls back to WordPress defaults when fields are left blank
* Lightweight — no jQuery, no bloat

== Installation ==

1. Upload the `per-post-meta-editor` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`.
2. Activate the plugin through **Plugins > Installed Plugins**.
3. Configure under **Settings > Meta Editor**.
4. Edit any post or page to find the **SEO Meta** box below the editor.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this conflict with Yoast or RankMath? =
It can. If you run a full SEO suite alongside this plugin, disable Meta Editor on the same post types to avoid duplicate tags.

= What happens if I leave the fields blank? =
WordPress generates the title and description automatically — this plugin does not output anything.
