About this Plugin

Generates a QR code for the current page URL entirely in the visitor's browser using a bundled pure JavaScript QR code encoder — no external API, no image service, no data sent off-site. The QR code renders to an HTML5 <canvas> element. Available as a [qrcode] shortcode and as an optional floating button that opens a popover with the QR code.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file using the button on this page.
  2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New.
  3. Click Upload Plugin and select the downloaded ZIP.
  4. Click Install Now then Activate Plugin.
