About this Plugin

Scans the media library for images where _wp_attachment_image_alt is empty or not set. For each image it derives a human-readable alt text suggestion from the filename, displays a thumbnail preview, and lets the user review/edit suggestions before applying them in bulk via AJAX. Results are paginated at 50 per page.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file using the button on this page.
  2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New.
  3. Click Upload Plugin and select the downloaded ZIP.
  4. Click Install Now then Activate Plugin.
