About this Plugin

Adds a Media → Alt Audit admin page that lists every image in the Media Library with its current alt text. Missing alt text is flagged in red. Editors can fix alt text directly in the table with an inline save button, without opening each attachment separately. Coverage summary cards and a progress bar give an at-a-glance view of the site's alt text health. Results can be exported to CSV.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file using the button on this page.
  2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New.
  3. Click Upload Plugin and select the downloaded ZIP.
  4. Click Install Now then Activate Plugin.
